Windward Risk Managers is the managing company for premiere insurance carriers, Florida Peninsula Insurance Company, Edison Insurance Company, and Ovation Home Insurance Exchange.

As the Marketing and Social Media Coordinator for Windward Risk Managers, I have been at the forefront of the company’s digital transformation during a period of rapid institutional growth. My role is centered on building brand authority, ensuring cross-platform consistency, and maintaining direct lines of communication with our policyholders and agency partners.

Managing Company Growth

I joined Windward Risk Managers during a pivotal chapter of expansion. As the company grew from its initial roots from having two carriers, then taking on an insurance agency, to rebranding the company as a whole, to now managing three distinct insurance carriers, my role evolved in tandem.

  • Strategic Adaptability: I successfully adapted to managing multi-platform social media pages for five companies.

  • Operational Excellence: I developed workflows that allow for the simultaneous management of multiple brands without sacrificing the quality or individual identity of each carrier.

Creating a Unified Digital Voice

One of my primary objectives was to solve the challenge of brand fragmentation. With three carriers operating under the Windward umbrella, it was essential to create a cohesive visual and tonal identity.

  • Brand Consistency: I overhauled the social media presence for two of the carriers, and created the social media presence for one, implementing unified brand guidelines that ensure every post, graphic, and caption reflects the professionalism and reliability of Windward Risk Managers.

  • Content Strategy: By creating a centralized content calendar, I ensure that while each carrier maintains its unique market position, the overarching "Windward Standard" of being an insurance industry leader is evident across every feed.

Multi-Channel Email Marketing

Beyond social media, I serve as one of the leads for our email marketing initiatives, acting as the direct bridge between our carriers and our audience.

  • Lifecycle Campaigns: I manage end-to-end email marketing for all three carriers, including monthly newsletters, insurance tips, and promotional outreach.

  • Data-Driven Engagement: By segmenting our audiences across the three brands, I deliver tailored content that drives higher open rates and fosters long-term loyalty among our agents and policyholders.

Designing Tangible Resources: Brochures & Guides

In the insurance industry, clarity is everything. I bridge the gap between complex policy details and client understanding by designing professional brochures and comprehensive guides for our carriers.

  • Educational Content: I translate technical insurance jargon into digestible, visually engaging guides and videos that empower agents and help policyholders make informed decisions.

  • Brochures and Postcards: I create high-quality brochures and postcards meant for policyholders and potential clients.

  • E-books and Guides: I introduced e-book creation to the company, and have created over twenty e-book and guides for various departments to better assist clients.
